AARON GOODMAN
Senior Counsel II, Publicis Re:Sources

Aaron Goodman is an attorney who has spent more than a decade assisting clients with their technology-related legal needs.  He currently serves as Senior Counsel for Re:Sources (a Publicis Groupe company) where he provides legal support to various Publicis Groupe agencies and business units – especially as it relates to technology and data.

In his current role, Aaron helps teams negotiate and draft agreements with vendors, including inventory sourcing agreements (sourcing media from publishers, ad networks, exchanges, DSPs and other programmatic partners), data sourcing agreements (e.g., data segments), agreements with research and analytics providers, and agreements related to ad serving and ad verification.  He is also often called upon to help Publicis Groupe agencies negotiate and draft provisions in agency client services agreements related privacy and data security.

In addition to working on agreements, Aaron advises senior agency leadership on issues related to IP protection, privacy compliance, compliance with advertising rules and regulations, as well as management of any disputes, litigations, government inquiries or investigations.  And he provides legal support in connection with the development of new, proprietary technology and data offerings.

Before joining Publicis, Aaron was in-house counsel at a large e-commerce company in the travel space where he managed the company’s IP litigation and worked on various agreements for technology services and products.  Prior to that, Aaron worked as an attorney for a large, international law firm where he represented clients in complex patent litigation.

In addition to a law degree, Aaron holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering.  He is a registered patent attorney authorized to practice before the USPTO and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/ US).
