ABHI PATIL
Senior Director, Customer Analytics and Loyalty Data Management, Air Canada

As Senior Director of Customer Analytics and Loyalty Data Management, Abhi Patil uses his 15+ years of experience leading data transformation programs to improve Air Canada’s analytical capabilities to help convert data into dollars. In this role, Abhi and his team are responsible for building an in-house customer and channel analytics practice—a core element of Air Canada’s all-new, digital-first loyalty program launching in 2020. His responsibilities include marketing operations, digital customer channel optimization, and customer intelligence. He also works closely with Air Canada’s Information Technology and Operations branches to ensure they are collecting and using customer data throughout the company with the goals of improving service, efficiency, and delivering on customer relationship management (CRM) opportunities.

Previously, he was the Global Director/US Director of Digital Analytics and Data Management at McDonalds, where he drove global data strategy to address market and country-specific privacy and governance needs. Patil also held positions at United Airlines, Verizon and i2 Technologies, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune and Masters Degrees from Clemson University in Computer Science and Civil Engineering.
